for the Board of directors of the
MORROW COUNTY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Morrow County Development Authority (the “Development Authority”) will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hearing Room of the Morrow County Commissioners, 80 North Walnut Street, Mt. Gilead, Ohio 43338. The purposes of the meeting are: (i) to conduct the regular business affairs of the Board; (ii) to approve the guaranteed maximum price amendment to the Construction Manager At Risk Agreement with J&F Construction & Development, Inc. for the County Engineer New Operations Facilities Project; (iii) to adopt a budget and appropriate funds for Fiscal Year 2024; (iv) to authorize the procurement of insurance for the Development Authority and its Board and its officers; and (v) to consider or act upon any other business as may properly come before the Board or any duly appointed committee of the Board.

Section 4929.26(C), the Morrow County Commissioners will hold two separate public meetings on the County of Morrow’s Electric Aggregation Plans of Operation and Governance.  The first hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at the Commissioner’s Hearing Room, 80 N. Walnut Street, Mount Gilead, Ohio.  The second hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Commissioner’s Hearing Room, 80 N. Walnut Street, Mount Gilead, Ohio.

The Morrow County’s Electric Aggregation Plans of Operation and Governance describes the policies and procedures by which the County will carry out the opt-out electric government aggregation program, including those policies and procedures, which relate to rates and customer service.

In order to serve you better and process payments in a timelier manner, 1st and 2nd half taxes for Manufactured Homes and Real Estate payments remitted by mail will now go to a Payment Center at Post Office Box 2013, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 and posted by 1:00pm on the day they are received. 

During 1st and 2nd half collections for Real Estate or Manufactured Home Property Taxes, you may still come into the Treasurer’s office to make your payments or you may pay at the Morrow County Federal Credit Union.   You may also submit your payments online at morrowcountyohio.gov/government/treasurer.  Additionally, you may still pay by phone to our office by Electronic Check, Debit Card, or Credit Card if you prefer.
